MC teleport quest - Attunement to the Core New world bosses - Azuregos, and Lord Kazzak This were changes to raid/dungeons difficulties started to happen. Patch 1.1 and 1.2 - Didn’t bring major changes in terms of gameplay or progression to the game, only some minor class tweaks. I left out all the changes made to Classes, talents trees, professions and in-depth item changes. I’ve scanned all the Classic patches from 1.1 to 1.12, and compiled all the nerfs and major changes made to instance difficulty and overall gameplay and itemisation. State what your thoughts and feelings are on this below if you feel like it, the more opinions and voices the better.ĮDIT: HERE’S A LIST OF ALL THE NERFS FOR ALL THE NAYSAYERS! I think it’s far fetched to hope for them to address this and actually bring the mobs and content back to a more difficult state during Classic itself, but perhaps we can at least get them to avoid doing this in Burning Crusade if they decide to eventually go that route. So for any of those who like me appreciate the more challenging experience I think we should make our voices heard about this issue. I think this has somewhat cheapened the experience of Classic a bit in the sense that it has trivialized the content and allowed for things not otherwise possible such as mass farming of dungeons and taking the danger out of leveling significantly which was one of the staples of Classic. This meant leveling became significantly easier and faster, and also that dungeons became trivial, not needing CC for mobs, and becoming able to grind like crazy like we’ve already seen in modern Classic since the release. Every single dungeon, raid, and all the world content was made substantially easier and tuned down while many classes were strong at the time. When I say the entire world I do mean the entire world. There’s one thing about patch 1.12 that has been conveniently glossed over by Blizzard in many of the posts talking about it’s features, which is the fact that the entire world was nerfed in preparation for Burning Crusade’s release.

I want to make this post in response to a lot of posts I see saying either Classic is too easy, Blizzard got the tuning wrong, dungeons and questing are too easy and you can survive much easier, etc.
